About

Founded in 1823 the Acequia de San Antonio is the governing body of the irrigation system on the north side of the Rio Hondo in Valdez, NM. Parciantes (water rights holders) elect the Acequia officers each year. The Acequia de San Antonio is a political subdivision of the State of New Mexico.
